To add a new value to a registry key

1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

2. Click the Registry tab.

3. Choose the key name from the Key list box.

4. Click the New Value button.

5. Type the name of the new value. If the value is numeric, click Numeric Value Type.

6. In the Value box, type the new value.

7. Click OK to confirm the addition and to close the Options dialog box.
